Work
Haoling Pu's roles at Google, CMU's Language Technologies Institute, WeRide and more, told in a line or two each.

AI agents in production quietly get worse as the models, prompts and tools underneath them change. Our team is building the loop that notices, works out why, and proposes a fix. Gave a team's engineering knowledge a brain: an agent that reads the docs, writes the wiki, and keeps it fresh while everyone sleeps. Ask it anything and it answers with receipts, every claim linked back to the doc it came from.

Teaching a model to translate speech before the sentence has ended, without betting wrong on how it ends. Built the whole kitchen for it: GPU serving, fine-tuning, and an honest way to weigh latency against quality.

Robotaxi backend. Cold services used to wake up slowly, so I kept a pool of them warm and a request never waits for a container to yawn. Gave a GPU cluster dashboards that people actually opened.

Led a six-person team building an AI companion for expectant mothers, with an agent that turns clinical notes into gentle daily plans.

Turned thirteen streams of flight sensors into something an engineer can query before the coffee gets cold.
